Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026 · StayFresh Property Services Inc.
1. These terms
These terms govern the services StayFresh Property Services Inc. ("StayFresh", "we", "us") provides to you. The specific services, scope, prices and any cancellation terms shown and accepted at booking form part of your agreement with us. Questions? operations@stayfreshpropertyservicesinc.ca · 437-249-3919.
2. Services and scope
Each service page describes what is included and what is excluded. Your price and scope are confirmed at booking. Add-ons are charged at their listed prices. Work outside the agreed scope (for example, additional labour at $34/hr plus HST, or services requiring a custom quote) is only performed after you approve it.
3. Pricing and tax
Fixed-price services are confirmed at the total shown before you pay. Custom-scope requests are quoted individually; nothing is charged until you approve the quote. HST (13%) applies and is included in the totals you confirm. Pricing is based on your property's size, condition and selected services — larger homes, additional rooms, unusually heavy buildup or properties requiring extra time may need a customized quote and any additional charges will be explained and approved by you before booking.
4. Payment
- Card — paid in full on our secure Stripe checkout at booking; your booking is confirmed when payment succeeds.
- Interac e-Transfer or cash — a $25 card deposit holds your booking; the balance is collected at the end of the service, once the agreed scope is completed.
- Approved quotes — paid through the secure link included with your quote.
5. Cancellation and the $25 booking fee
The cancellation terms that apply to your booking are the ones displayed and accepted by you at checkout, together with a policy version and timestamp. For bookings with a $25 deposit: the deposit holds your time slot and is refundable if you cancel before our team arrives; after our team has arrived at your property, the deposit may be retained, subject to applicable law and the terms you accepted. Bookings made before a policy version was shown keep the terms they were accepted under. Cancellations we initiate, safety holds, reschedules and payment failures are handled separately and never trigger an automatic customer fee.
6. Rescheduling
You can reschedule by contacting us before your appointment; we will move your booking to an available time and update your reminders. Repeated short-notice changes may be subject to the same short-notice terms as cancellations.
7. Safety information
Safety concerns you flag (such as pests, suspected mould, leaks, sharps, chemicals, wiring, structural or access concerns) are reviewed by our team before your booking is confirmed; nothing is charged or scheduled until then. Conditions may require us to proceed only with documented precautions, decline the booking, or stop work in an affected area.
8. What our condition checks are not
Our operational property checks are observations made by cleaning and property-care staff to help you maintain your property. They are not professional or regulated home inspections, do not certify structural, electrical, plumbing or air-quality condition and do not replace a licensed inspector where one is required.
9. Access to your property
You are responsible for providing safe access at the scheduled time, including any access instructions, parking details and authorization for people or pets on site. If we cannot access the property, we will contact you and the booking may be treated under the cancellation terms you accepted.
10. Liability
We perform services with reasonable care and skill and we are insured and registered with WSIB. If something goes wrong, tell us promptly and we will make it right — through a re-clean, repair coordination or another remedy we agree on. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the fees paid for that service and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. See also our Privacy Policy.
